God who illuiates our lives,
Be with us this day,
Help us to let go of what distracts us
From being present to you,
Let us leave behind
Our to do lists and homework,
emails and texts,
work and worries,
So we might be attentive to your guidance,
Your peace,
Your ways in the world.
So that we might gain vision,
To see the bright and beautiful,
The light within us all.
